Job Description:



We are is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Pasco County, FL The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and overall well-being. As a General Dentist at Oak Dental Partners, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing the overall oral healthcare needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:



– Perform routine dental examinations and provide appropriate treatment plans.

– Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.

– Perform dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, and other restorative and preventive services.

– Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.

– Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans, procedures, and outcomes.

– Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

– Stay updated on the latest dental technologies, techniques, and industry trends.

– Adhere to all relevant dental regulations, standards, and policies.

Qualifications:



– DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.

– Complete a Pediatric Residency accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation or have at least 5+ years of experience focused primarily on pediatrics.

– Current, valid license to practice dentistry in state where providing care (License must be in good standing) or eligible for licensure.

– Other certifications as required by state to include- CPR, DEA, etc.

Skills:



– Comprehensive knowledge of pediatric dental procedures and treatments.

– Expertise in behavior management and sedation techniques for children.

– Ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of dental issues in pediatric patients.

– Proficiency in preventive dental care and patient education.

– Strong organizational and time management skills.

– Excellent problem-solving abilities.

– Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
