Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in Massachusetts. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general dentistry procedures, with a strong emphasis on extractions and dentures. As the sole provider during this period, the dentist will be responsible for all aspects of patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans
• Provide a wide range of general dentistry services
• Conduct tooth extractions and fit dentures
• Manage all aspects of patient care as the sole provider
• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental best practices and techniques
• Communicate effectively with patients about their oral health and treatment options
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Manage time efficiently to accommodate scheduled patients and procedures
• Handle administrative tasks related to patient care and clinic operations
Requirements:
• Active Massachusetts state dental license
• Experience in general dentistry with proficiency in extractions and dentures
• Ability to work independently as the sole provider
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
