Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in Arizona. This 36-day assignment begins on 06/02/2025, with a schedule of Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, providing comprehensive dental care to patients. This facility uses Dentrix EMR, and also has the potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses

• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients

• Provide preventive dental care and patient education

• Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges

• Conduct root canal treatments and tooth extractions as needed

• Manage periodontal treatments and therapies

• Administer local anesthetics for dental procedures

• Interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests

• Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment planning

• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

• Adhere to all dental clinic policies and procedures

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry

• Manage time efficiently to accommodate patient appointments

Requirements:

• Active Arizona state dental license

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree

• Experience in general dentistry, including a wide range of dental procedures

• Proficiency in using Dentrix dental practice management software

• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
