Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in Minnesota. This 77-day assignment begins on 05/05/2025, with a schedule of Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and alternating Fridays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, providing comprehensive dental care to patients. This facility uses Dentrix EMR, and there is a possibility of assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Provide preventive dental care and patient education
• Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges
• Conduct root canal treatments and tooth extractions as needed
• Manage periodontal treatments and therapies
• Administer local anesthetics for dental procedures
• Interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment planning
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Adhere to all dental clinic policies and procedures
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry
• Manage time efficiently to accommodate patient appointments
Requirements:
• Active Minnesota state dental license
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Experience in general dentistry, including a wide range of dental procedures
• Proficiency in using Dentrix dental practice management software
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
