Barton Associates is seeking a Dentist for a locum tenens position at a dental clinic in Tennessee. This 27-day assignment starts 06/02/2025, with varying work dates primarily on Mondays through Thursdays. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of pediatric dental procedures, including crowns, fillings, extractions, sealants, and pulpotomies. The dentist will work as the sole provider in the office, assisting with all patients on Fridays. Experience with Denticon software is preferred, and an active Tennessee dental license is required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform pediatric dental procedures including SSCs, fillings, and extractions

• Apply spacers, silver diamine fluoride, and sealants

• Conduct anterior crown placements and pulpotomies

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions in children

• Develop and implement treatment plans

• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Denticon software

• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members

• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols

• Manage patient flow and appointments efficiently

• Participate in any required clinic meetings or training sessions
