Job Description

Your next locum tenens opportunity awaits in Oregon! Our client is looking for a dentist to begin coverage immediately. Hours include 8 or 10 hour shifts for 3-4 days per week. The selected locum will be handling fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals, and other general dentistry procedures. There is a chance for an extension with this opportunity. Job Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Perform general dentistry procedures
  • Conduct efficient restorative dental work
  • Carry out dental examinations and consultations
  • Complete fillings and dental restorations
  • Perform other general dentistry treatments as needed
  • Utilize OpenDental software for patient documentation and care coordination
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and work assignments


Additional Information:


  • Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Oregon
  • Strong background in general dentistry required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic environment
