Job Description

We are seeking a Dentist for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in Oregon. This 40-day assignment begins on 05/05/2025, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires expertise in general dentistry procedures, including dentures, crowns, molar-to-molar extractions, and general dental checkups. The provider should be comfortable working independently with an underserved population, handling both routine and advanced procedures.

Provider Type Needed: Dentist

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (patients seen 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM)


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental exams and develop treatment plans

• Conduct routine dental procedures and checkups

• Fabricate and fit dentures

• Perform crown procedures

• Carry out molar-to-molar extractions

• Provide pediatric dental care as needed

• Handle a variety of cases in an underserved population

• Utilize Nextgen software for patient management and record-keeping

• Work independently and efficiently in a multi-specialty clinic setting

• Adapt to diverse patient needs and varying case complexities


Additional Information:

• Comfort with working alone required

• Experience with underserved populations preferred

• Current Oregon dental license required
