Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in New Hampshire. This 18-day assignment starts on 07/14/2025, with a schedule of Mondays and Tuesdays from 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of general dentistry, providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This role offers an opportunity to work in an established dental clinic, delivering high-quality dental services and referring patients to specialists or other doctors as needed.

Schedule: Monday and Tuesday, 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch break)


Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning

• Conduct routine dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges

• Provide preventive care and patient education on oral hygiene

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions

• Perform simple and complex tooth extractions as needed

• Manage periodontal treatments and therapies

• Fabricate and fit dental prosthetics including dentures and partial dentures

• Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and scheduling

• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care

• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Maintain a clean and sterile working environment

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry

• Provide emergency dental care when required

• Communicate effectively with patients about their oral health and treatment options

• Refer patients to specialists or other doctors as needed


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in New Hampshire

• Experience with Dentrix software preferred but not required

• Strong clinical skills in all aspects of general dentistry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team

• Comfortable working with patients of all ages

• Flexibility to adapt to the clinic's schedule and patient needs

• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 18 days
