Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Clinic in Minnesota. This 60-day assignment starts on 05/05/2025, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a range of dental procedures, including tooth extractions, 3-unit dental bridges, occasional root canals, dentures, crowns, fillings, and hygiene checks. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care to patients in a clinic setting, ensuring high-quality oral health services.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform tooth extractions as the primary oral surgery procedure

• Create and place 3-unit dental bridges

• Conduct root canal treatments when necessary

• Fabricate and fit dentures for patients

• Prepare and place dental crowns and fillings

• Perform routine hygiene checks and cleanings

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix software

• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care

• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental techniques and technologies

• Provide emergency dental care when required

• Communicate effectively with patients about their oral health needs and treatment options


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed as a Dentist in Minnesota

• Experience with Dentrix dental software preferred

• Strong clinical skills in general dentistry procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
