Barton Associates is seeking an experienced Dentist for a 20-day locum tenens position at a dental clinic in Pennsylvania. Starting on 04/08/2025, this assignment offers a full-time schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The ideal candidate should be proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, including hygiene checks, dentures, partials, crowns, bridges, fillings, and simple extractions. This outpatient dental clinic role utilizes the Denticon practice management system and offers the potential for extension beyond the initial 20-day period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning
- Conduct hygiene checks and provide preventive care recommendations
- Fabricate and fit dentures and partial dentures
- Provide restorative treatments including crowns, bridges, and fillings
- Perform simple extractions and manage post-operative care
- Deliver endodontic treatments if experienced (not required but beneficial)
- Offer Invisalign treatments if certified (not required but advantageous)
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Denticon software
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care
- Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure effective communication with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in general dentistry
- Manage time effectively to see patients in a timely manner
Additional Information:
- Pennsylvania dental license required
- Experience in general dentistry essential, including comfort with a wide range of procedures
- Endodontics and Invisalign experience beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable with outpatient dental visits and general dentistry procedures
- Potential for assignment extension
