Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a part-time locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in Tennessee. This assignment covers 7 specific Fridays between 04/11/2025 and 06/27/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of dental procedures including sedations, nitrous oxide administration, stainless steel crowns, pulp treatments, fillings, extractions, silver diamine fluoride applications, endodontic procedures, and wisdom teeth extractions. As the sole dentist in the office on these days, you will be responsible for managing all patient care needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including sedations and nitrous oxide administration
• Place stainless steel crowns and conduct pulp treatments
• Provide restorative care including fillings
• Perform tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth
• Apply silver diamine fluoride as needed
• Conduct endodontic procedures
• Manage all aspects of patient care as the sole dentist on duty
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Denticon software
• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout treatments
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
• Provide patient education on oral health and preventive care
Additional Information:
• Tennessee dental license required
• Proficiency in Denticon dental practice management software is beneficial
• Comfortable working independently in a single-doctor office setting
