Full Time Associate Dentist - Montgomery AL

We are seeking an Associate Dentist for our practice in Montgomery, AL who is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a strong commitment to patient education.

As an Associate Dentist, you will be able to continue to learn and expand your skills as you will be supported by a team of experienced dental professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. We offer a variety of dental treatments in house such all general, cosmetic, endodontics, implants, TMJ, sleep apnea, sedation and clear aligners.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
  • Administer anesthetics to patients as necessary
  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
  • Provide preventive dental care and education to patients
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique in all procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques

Skills:

  • Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
  • Experience using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
  • Ability to manage and maintain patient medical records
  • Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
  • Thorough understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems for restorative dentistry is preferred

Requirements:

  • This position requires a valid dental license and the ability to practice dentistry in the state.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
