Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Dentist to join our fully remodeled dental practice in Northern Montana. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, flexible scheduling, and a modern facility equipped with advanced dental technology. Practice Information:
- Modern Facility: Recently remodeled (5 years ago), featuring five operatories, digital X-rays, portable X-rays, and two dentist offices.
- Advanced EMR Systems: Utilize Next Gen and Escribe for efficient patient management.
- Experienced Team: Work alongside a Dental Hygienist and two Dental Assistants.
- Patient Volume: Average of 8 to 10 patients per day, allowing for a focused and personalized approach to patient care.
- Flexible Schedule: Choose between a 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts) or a 5-day workweek (8-hour shifts), with hours from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- No On-Call Duties: Maintain work-life balance without the stress of on-call requirements.
Financial Package:
- Competitive Compensation: Up to $220,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
- Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: $22,000 total (half paid at signing, half upon start), with a 2-year service agreement. If the provider leaves early, the full amount must be repaid.
- Loan Repayment: Eligible for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) or State of Montana loan repayment programs.
- CME Allowance: $1,000 for continuing medical education.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision coverage for the provider and family.
- Retirement Plan: 403b with 3% employer matching.
Responsibilities:
- Review patient medical histories and prepare for dental procedures, including sedation or anesthesia when needed.
- Conduct oral examinations using X-rays and diagnostic tools to assess and treat dental health issues.
- Perform routine dental cleanings, plaque and tartar removal, and cavity fillings.
- Design and place dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and dentures.
- Provide cosmetic treatments like teeth whitening.
- Perform extractions, root canals, and oral surgery as needed.
- Prescribe medications and educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.
- Promote preventive dental care and manage regular patient check-ups.
Qualifications:
- Degree: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Licensure: Current state licensure to practice dentistry, or eligibility to obtain a license in Montana.
