Job Description:

We are is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist (GP) to join our team in Lancaster County, SC. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and overall well-being. As a General Dentist at Oak Dental Partners, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing the overall oral healthcare needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:

– Perform routine dental examinations and provide appropriate treatment plans.

– Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.

– Perform dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, and other restorative and preventive services.

– Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.

– Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans, procedures, and outcomes.

– Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

– Stay updated on the latest dental technologies, techniques, and industry trends.

– Adhere to all relevant dental regulations, standards, and policies.

Qualifications:

– DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.

– Current, valid license to practice dentistry in state where providing care (License must be in good standing) or eligible for licensure.

– Other certifications as required by state to include- CPR, DEA, etc.

Skills:

– Proficiency in performing general dental procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions).

– Knowledge of preventive dental care and oral hygiene practices.

– Strong diagnostic skills for identifying oral health issues.

– Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

– Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records (EHR).

– Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

– Strong attention to detail and precision in dental work.

– Effective communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.

– Compassionate and patient-centered approach to dental care.
