Position Overview:
As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental services to our patients. You will work alongside a supportive team of professionals and report directly to the Chief Dental Officer. Your responsibilities will include providing routine and emergency dental care, supervising Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists, collaborating with other healthcare providers, and ensuring exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis, treatment plans, restorative procedures, prosthetics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Interpret x-rays and lab studies, administer anesthetics and medications, and refer patients for specialty care when necessary.
- Provide supervision to Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists, ensuring coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Educate patients and families on dental and oral health, and participate in training programs for staff and patients.
- Build strong relationships with patients, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and manage difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Utilize technology for data entry, information retrieval, and monitoring the effectiveness of equipment and supplies.
Required Qualifications:
- Dental Degree with licensure to practice in Indiana.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Dental laws and regulations, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and basic computer skills.
