About us:

Dr. Kitto graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and has set the standard in providing trusted dental care to families in the Central Coast community for over 35 years. From the beginning, Dr. Kitto has made it clear that his relationships with his patients are of paramount importance and that is reflected in his clinic’s success and reputation throughout the community.

Immediately upon her graduation from her father’s alma mater 2011 Dr. Kitto’s daughter, Dr. Ashley Channer, moved back to Santa Maria to join her father’s practice. The father-daughter duo has experienced phenomenal growth in the size of their clinic and number of patients over the last several years with no sign of letting up. Their increased popularity among families in the area seems to be their only “problem” if that’s what you want to call it!

About the role:

Due to the consistent growth of Dr. Kitto’s clinic, there is an urgent need to add another Registered Dental Hygienist to the team! This person will work from 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Thursday, and one Friday per month. Part-time options are available as well. It is vital that we protect the warm and enthusiastic environment we have created in our office so this person being a culture fit and having the ability to contribute to a BUSY and ambitious staff is far more important than years of experience.

Qualifications:

• Active state dental hygiene license
• NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
• Proficiency with office management software is a plus
• Comfortable with learning and using new technology
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g. HIPAA)
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work fluidly with a team in a fast-paced environment
