(Archived) Dental Patient Coordinator

We are a state-of-the-art family practice in New Braunfels, TX, seeking a full time Dental Patient Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in a dental front office capacity and possess knowledge of insurance verification.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 2pm

Compensation & Benefits: starting at $18.00 per hour with full benefits, bonus opportunities, and growth opportunities.

Requirements:

• Two or more years in a detal front office capacity
• Insurance verification knowledge
• Comfortable with collecting co/pays outstanding patient balances
• Polished presentation
• Excellent communiation skills both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills knowlege with Google workspace
• Dental practice management experience - Denticon is a plus

Duties:

• Deliver a distinctive patient experience in person and over the phone.
• Answer calls and schedule dental treatments for new and existing patients.
• Welcome patients upon arrival, collecting necessary information such as demographics, insurance details, and updated health history.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility.
• Assist in meeting office financial goals by ensuring hygiene and dentist schedules are optimized.
• Collect patient payments and post them to their ledger.
• Review finance and payment options with patients at the time of service.
• Update necessary documents into Denticon.
• Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming patient appointments.
• Perform additional tasks as needed, such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling restroom supplies, and other necessary office duties.
